Our IAMI GUEST Advanced Leadership Programme is designed to fit around the demanding schedules of experienced Heads of Department and senior crew while maximising leadership development and real-world application. Through a blended learning approach, delegates benefit from a combination of self-paced online learning, live virtual sessions, workplace-based activities and an interactive one-day workshop in Palma. Rather than focusing solely on leadership theory, the programme challenges participants to apply advanced leadership techniques within their onboard environment, reflecting on their experiences and refining their approach through practical application. This journey includes in an immersive in-person workshop, where delegates explore topics such as influence, emotional intelligence, team dynamics and conflict management while sharing experiences with fellow leaders. The result is a dynamic learning experience that creates lasting behavioural change and equips senior crew with the skills, confidence and mindset to lead high-performing teams and positively influence onboard culture.

Our next IAMI GUEST Advanced Leadership Programme will begin in Q2 2027 and includes a mandatory two-day workshop in Palma de Mallorca in May 2027. Throughout the programme, delegates will participate in a blend of virtual learning, workplace activities, and practical leadership development, culminating in the in-person workshop where key leadership principles are brought to life through interactive discussions, exercises, and real-world scenarios.
