Our IAMI GUEST Foundation Leadership Programme has been designed to fit around the demanding schedules of yacht professionals while maximising learning and real-world application. Through a blended learning approach, you will benefit from a combination of self-paced online learning, live virtual sessions and an interactive two-day workshop. Rather than focusing solely on classroom theory, the programme encourages participants to apply new skills in their onboard environment throughout the course, reflecting on their experiences and receiving feedback from colleagues and crew. This journey includes an immersive in-person workshop, where you will explore practical leadership techniques, share experiences with fellow professionals and develop the confidence and capability to lead high-performing teams onboard. The result is a dynamic learning experience that creates lasting behavioural change and equips future Heads of Department with the tools to lead effectively in the unique world of yachting.

Our next IAMI GUEST Foundation Leadership Programme will begin in April 2027 and includes a mandatory two-day workshop in Palma de Mallorca in May 2027. Dates will be confirmed below once available. Throughout the programme, delegates will participate in a blend of virtual learning, workplace activities, and practical leadership development, culminating in the in-person workshop where key leadership principles are brought to life through interactive discussions, exercises, and real-world scenarios.
